Christina Applegate

ChristinaChristina Applegate, born November 25, 1971, is an American actress. As a child actress , she was known for her character of Kelly Bundy on Fox's sitcom Married... with Children (1987-1997). Applegate had a successful and successful career in both the film and television industries. She received the Primetime Emmy Award for seven nominations. She also received four Golden Globe Awards nominations and a Tony Award. Applegate was the lead actress in the title role in the NBC sitcom Jesse (1998-2000) and for which she was nominated for an Golden Globe Award. She was awarded a Primetime Emmy Award for her guest appearance on the NBC sitcom Friends (2002-2003). She was nominated for the Tony Award as Best Actress in a Musical for her performance in Sweet Charity (2005). Samantha Who? was her next ABC sitcom. (2007-2009), for which she received two Primetime Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award nominations. Other shows include the NBC sitcom Up All Night (2011-2012) as well as the Netflix dark, tragicomedy drama Dead to Me (2019-2022), which earned her three Primetime Emmy Award nominations and one Golden Globe Award nomination.Applegate has played major roles in several films, including Don't Tell Mom that the Babysitter's Dead (1991), The Big Hit (1998), The Sweetest Thing (2002), Grand Theft Parsons (2003), Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004), Hall Pass (2011), Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (2013), Vacation (2015), Bad Moms (2016) as well as Crash Pad (2017).
